asilvertouch.com reviews the axiom h-spec saddle - june 19 2007
The search for the perfect saddle continues with this offering from Axiom. They sent us their new seat, the H-Spec Freeride which boasts a plethora of high tech features.
Like most new saddles, the H-Spec Freeride has a cut out in the front and the foam is shaped in such a way that it will eliminate pressure and pain during those long rides in the saddle while maximizing pedaling efficiency. During our short test ride, the saddle did provide a very comfortable perch. This can be attributed to the thick foam used as well as the very flexible plastic frame. The saddle had a nice length to it allowing the rider to move around on the seat. Unlike many DH/freeride specific saddles out there, the H-Spec Freeride maintains a fairly narrow shape which provides a comfortable and efficient pedaling platform.
