enforce air dlx gauge pump: a sicklines.com review - january 31 2008
The Enforce Air DLX Gauge is a nice mini pump that easily converts to a floor pump when the job demands. Its construction is top notch using a nice 6063 T6 aluminum and quality plastics. By knurling the barrel Axiom was able to give a nice bit of traction for your hands while pumping, even if the conditions aren’t at their best. The pump folds up nice and compact and has multiple mounting methods with hardware included. Axiom developed an easy to read gauge that is really nice to have when making pressure changes. Even though the gauge is easy to read it does lack precision that some riders may want and can be hard to view from some angles. Otherwise I was impressed that the gauge itself was serviceable as this allows the pump to used longer in the future by repairing it if any problem should arise.
streamliner road: a fixedgeargallery.com review - january 31 2008
Need to fit a rear rack on a bike that doesn't have rack mounts or dropout eyelets? Before Norco dreamed up this simple solution, you'd be out of luck. And what a simple installation this is: + Pull the rear skewer and add the rack. + Pull the rear brake caliper, slide off the spacer, and slip the the rack stay into place. In this case it took only a slight bend on the tab that fits behind the caliper to make it a perfect fit. Time to install? About five minutes - and it'll be less the next time too.
pinkbike.com features the axiom road gap ii pedal - january 03 2008
The Axiom RoadGap II pedal is by far the most common pedal I see in these parts. And for good reason, people in these parts are smart and do their homework. The 'Gaps have all the features one should look for in a pedal: Double row sealed bearings, tall set screws (with spares), and a good concave to help keep your kicks planted. If you can only afford one pair you'll be happy about the axle having both wrench flats and a 6mm allen key hole in the back so you can switch them between bikes! The new version is also ready for the photo shoots in a sweet sparkle white paint job.
